Dr. Scott graduated from the Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Upon graduation, she practiced in Cape Coral, Florida at a busy 6 doctor practice. Upon her return to Columbus she practiced as a relief veterinarian traveling throughout central Ohio. She purchased Stringtown Animal Hospital in December of 2004. Her goal is to support and nourish the bond that her clients and their pets share by providing optimal veterinary care. Dr. Scott’s family includes Lina and two German Shepherds, Riddick and Furiosa.

Jim Carter, DVMVeterinarian
Dr. Carter graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. Upon graduation, he worked in large and small animal practices in Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. He has been practicing small animal medicine exclusively since 1995. He has an extraordinary amount of experience and knowledge. Our clients and patients are comforted by his gentle and caring demeanor. Dr. Carter's family includes chow mix Lina, German Shepherds Riddick and Furiosa, and three horses: Allie, Boo Boo, and B.B.

Rachel Hollenbach, DVM
Dr. Hollenbach is a 2016 graduate from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been working in Springfield, Ohio and is now excited to return to the Columbus area. Her medical interests include dentistry, behavior, and strengthening the human-animal bond between clients and their pets. Dr. Hollenbach enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and their daughter, Julia. Her fur family includes two dogs - Trevor and Ava, and three cats - Cleo, Shamus, and Franklin.

Michelle, RVTLead Technician
Michelle graduated from the Columbus State Veterinary Technician Program in 2005. She provides compassionate care to all our patients and especially enjoys assisting with surgeries. Michelle and her husband, Steve, have three boys (Stephen, Jackson & Tristan), two dogs (Biscuit, the pug, and Poppy, Great Pyrenees mix) and a beloved tuxedo cat named Peppy.

Hannah is a 2011 graduate from Morehead State University where she obtained a degree in Veterinary Technology. Hannah has a great love for all animals, big and small. She has a son, Dorian, who also loves animals. Tikka is Hannah's wild child Brittany spaniel.

Lori fell in love with the veterinary field after graduating high school. She graduated from the Columbus State Veterinary Technician program in 2003. Lori is very fond of beagles after adopting her 15 year old beagle Otis 13 years ago. Lori and her husband, Steve, have Otis and 1 cat, Topaz.

Cassey graduated in 2013 from Bradford School with an associate's degree in Veterinary Technology. Cassey has always shared a close bond with animals, especially dachshunds. She grew up around dachshunds and currently has one named Weasley as well as a border collie named Sapphire.

Nikki graduated from Columbus State Community College Veterinary Technician program in 2015. Nikki has always had a love for working with animals. She has a Shetland sheepdog named Bluejack at home. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and off-roading in her Jeep!

in Malone University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She was raised on a Holstein Dairy farm in Canton, Ohio , and then was a zoo keeper at Clark County, Ohio and Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Busch Gardens . When Charlene and her husband moved back to Florida , she worked at an animal hospital in Ohio before joining the team at Columbus . Stringtown Animal Hospital

Janet is a familiar face to all of our clients. She originally started employment with the hospital before it moved to it’s current location. Janet's friendly personality and wonderful listening skills allow client needs to be taken care of effectively and efficiently. Janet and her husband, Rick, are Grove City natives and have two daughters, Amber and Ashley. Janet breeds German shepherds and currently has many dogs as well as two cats and an African Grey parrot named Domino.

Erin and her husband, Tony, have two girls and one step-son. Jess is currently attending Columbus State Community College and is starting the Veterinary Technician program this fall. She discovered her passion for helping animals after losing her kitten, Jin, to cancer. Jess and her husband, ChanRak, have three rescued cats: Mugen, Fuu, and Sokka. She has fostered, volunteered at shelters, and is now looking forward to completing her degree to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Karla is a 2014 graduate of the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School. After pursuing careers in broadcast television and graphic design, Karla followed her passion for animals to become a Veterinary Technician. She is excited to put her animal knowledge and organizational skills to use as Office Manager. At home, her family includes her felines: Maine Coon mix Hemingway Royce Longtail (i.e., Hemi), long-haired black cat Kokopelli Get Your Belly (i.e., Koko), and the witchy girl, a dilute tortie named Avalon Cloud Le Fay (i.e., Avalon).
